Last September, two Land Rover Enthusiasts go 8000 miles coast to coast and back, interview a top-secret cast of Rover Enthusiasts, cover several national parks and monuments, assist the Red Cross' Disaster Relief efforts, and celebrate Land Rover 60th at the National Rally in Utah; all of this to document the passion behind the Land Rover lifestyle and explore our great country so that we can learn how to do our part within our national community.

To all of our friends, sponsors and supporters

We made it!  As you know, this documentary came out of nowhere and barely within three months of having simply wondered what it would be like to put faces to the names of members within our community - thanks to all of you - we found so much more!

We’ve described each other as being passionate, dedicated, educated, courageous, selfless, dysfunctional . . .  all true, but the number one word that was used to describe the Land Rover community was family.  Almost eight thousand miles, 70 hours of footage and 4832 still images later, I couldn’t pick a better word to describe us.

You sent us texts, made us dinner, showed us trails, fixed our truck, let us shower, do our laundry, donated amazing product, gave us t-shirts and gear which kept us - at times - happily away from our laundry, shared your stories and ideas and beliefs, saved our lives on the trail with a tow rope and later a sandwich. . .  What an amazing time!

Now that we’re back we’ve got our work cut out for us:  how do we edit together the best from the best?  What will follow this thanksgiving will be a DVD that reflects the impetus to do this in the first place as well as a glimpse into the lives of those who embrace the ethos of community and fellowship as well as vision and adventure.  Additionally, we’re putting together a special features section with additional footage to include a “film-makers” commentary, DIY repairs on some of our most intimidating repair projects as well as some other nice surprises.

Please stay tuned as we update with photo galleries and trailers - we’re as excited as you are to get this thing finished!

Best - Elias, Hovik and Jamie
