Elias Christeas  has been an avid off-roader ever since he discovered how much fun it was to get his shoes dirty as a kid.  Having grown up in New Jersey, Elias soon began racing in local 250cc enduro circuits.  Combined with a childhood spent restoring countless British Classics with his father, the Land Rover naturally became his next obsession as soon as he could legally drive.  Over the last several years, Elias has worked on every aspect of Land Rover mechanics and has even worked as a chase truck and pit crew member for Gerardo Barrigan (Baja 1000 Class 3 Trophy Winner, 88 Range Rover Classic).  In 2008, Elias fused his passion for the Land Rover community with his profession as an actor/film-maker and created the documentary “In Search of the Experience” which exposed on film the colorful portrait of America’s Land Rover Community.  The documentary continues to sell world-wide and was recently picked up for distribution through Atlantic British, Ltd (the nation’s largest Land Rover Parts and Accessory supplier).  Additionally, sales from “In Search of the Experience” has allowed for $1000 in charitable donations to America’s Red Cross and Disaster Relief in Haiti.  Recently, Elias was lucky enough to become engaged to Kristen Bergeron; they live and work out of Beverly Hills and look towards a future where anything is possible.

Michael Rady explains “Growing up with the understanding that "cars don't get fixed at the shop, they get fixed in the driveway, I developed a DIY spirit early on.”  While helping his dad bleed breaks, change pads, replace alternators, swap transmissions etc., John would put his sons tiny hands to good use getting at screws and bolts that were not easily accessible. Early on Michael began to appreciate the unique satisfaction (and relief!) when the key turns and the engine purrs (or gurgles...) to life after days of grease covered toiling and at the cost of only parts and patience. It is with that same spirit of DIY adventure that Michael, a trained and working actor in TV and Film, joins the ISOTE Racing team in their goal of winning the Baja 1000...or at least finishing.

Kasra Ajir,  From as far back as he can remember, has always loved cars, but it was watching Champ car racing on weekends that hooked him at an early age into the adrenaline of auto racing. At seventeen, his love of speed manifested into weekends spent modifying his daily driver looking for extra horsepower and better handling, and visits to local drag strips to burn rubber.  While attending university, he and a close friend opened a local aftermarket tuning company called Innovative Racing Technologies.  While selling aftermarket parts and tuning client cars, IRT worked in conjunction with Connecticut's Last Minute Racing to build BMW race cars for the Speedvision Touring and GT series.   A talent executive in the entertainment industry, Ajir enjoys spending his weekends autocrossing with the BMWCCA or wrenching on one of his prized BMWs. Ajir is looking forward to many skinned knuckles building the race truck for Baja, and is even more thrilled to spend many sandy miles in the truck with his friends en route to a finish at Baja.

Rob Deitz was introduced to classic car restoration at an age in which memories have not yet formed by his then mechanic father, Bob Sr.  Since then, he has restored or aided in restoring over a dozen post war classics. He continued into hobbyist road, kart and drag racing in addition to autocross, which he recently won a 2009 SCCA SSM Class Divisional trophy.  He has worked as a mechanic, custom car fabricator and detailer as well as new/pre-owned car salesman.  Rob has built over two dozen race cars in various forms and continues to seek new ways to involve himself in motorsport.  In addition to the highlighted “Budget Baja Build”, he is currently restoring a 1965 Pontiac Tempest Custom, racing a 1995 Mazda MX-5 Miata (happily upgraded with a modest turbo and significant suspension improvements), riding a Suzuki SV650 and learning to fly on a Cessna 172S.  Rob currently works in finance and will be assisting in the budgeting process of the truck.  He is an active triathlete, participating in 3-5 races per year and is engaged to his beautiful fiancé Samantha, residing in West Los Angeles, were they live with two dogs, Spyder and Marley.”
